Las Vegas Raiders director of pro scouting, Dwayne Joseph, is reportedly leaving the team to take a front office role elsewhere.

According to Tristen Kuhn of TWSN, Joseph is leaving for the Detroit Lions, where he's being hired to a "high level front office role" with the team.

Joseph was in his current role with the Raiders for the past five years and was even tabbed by Raiders general manager Tom Telesco as someone who could become a general manager eventually.

"It's comforting on our staff between JoJo (Wooden) and Dwayne Joseph and Champ Kelly, we have people that could be GMs somewhere, and most likely will be GMs at some point. I need that help around me, I need those ideas from people like that."

Prior to his stint with the Raiders, Joseph worked as the director of pro personnel with the Philadelphia Eagles from 2015-19. He's also had scouting roles with the Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins following a his short NFL career.
