The Las Vegas Raiders took part in their second practice of mandatory minicamp on Wednesday and it was an excellent day for the team's 2024 NFL Draft class, as multiple members made some standout plays.
Before we get to that, it's certainly worth noting that the two quarterbacks vying for the starting role, Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell, both struggled once again, which isn't entirely surprising.
Not only are the signal-callers going up against a very good defense, they're also learning a new offense under offensive coordinator Luke Getsy. What did change was the first-team reps distribution, as O'Connell saw more than Minshew after it was the other way around the day before, per Tashan Reed of The Athletic.

Raiders minicamp Day 2 standouts
CB Jakorian Bennett
According to Levi Edwards of Raiders.com, Bennett closed out practice with a pick, his second in as many days. Bennett is vying for the No. 2 cornerback role opposite Jack Jones and appears to be the leader in the clubhouse.
RB Dylan Laube
Another day, another standout performance from Laube, who "is using his versatility to the fullest," per Edwards, who added, "along with racking up yards after catch from the backfield, he's received quite a few reps in kickoff return."
Being able to contribute on kickoff returns is big for Laube, as it increases his value and, in turn, his overall chances of making the cut. The New Hampshire product could challenge for the RB3 job in training camp.
TE Brock Bowers
Bowers "has impressed since rookie minicamp and continued to use his route running abilities to get open throughout Wednesday's practice," Edwards wrote.
The rookie tight end has even picked up a nickname from wide receiver Davante Adams, who calls Bowers "the business man" for his serious demeanor. You can check out more on that right here.
OT DJ Glaze
Glaze stood out in pass protection, holding his own against Maxx Crosby and Tyree Wilson, according to Edwards. We haven't heard much about Glaze this offseason, so that's certainly encouraging news. With both starting tackle spots seemingly taken, the rookie is vying for a depth role in his first season.
QB Anthony Brown
Edwards notes that Brown "was finding his targets" on Day 2 and "connected on a deep touchdown pass to Kristian Wilkerson in team period as well as some impressive throws to DJ Turner."
Brown, who is vying for the QB3 or practice squad QB role against UDFA Carter Bradley, has had a pair of strong showings to start minicamp and appears to be firmly in the lead in that competition.
EDGE Maxx Crosby
In what is the least surprising news ever, Crosby was his elite self at practice. The star edge rusher "was all over the field from start to finish, getting in the backfield for what would've been two sacks in team period."
After his performance on Wednesday, the two stars of the Raiders' impressive defensive line, Crosby and Christian Wilkins, have both stood out over the first two days. Las Vegas is going to have some trio upfront with Crosby, Wilkins and Malcolm Koonce.
CB M.J. Devonshire
Along with Bennett, Devonshire was also responsible for an interception. The seventh-round pick won't be challenging for a starting job but does have a good shot to land a backup and special teams role in his first season.
LB Tommy Eichenberg
Eichenberg made a standout play when he notched a pass break-up during red zone drills. The Ohio State product is competing for a depth role at the position and will almost certainly contribute on special teams.
