We are four weeks into the 2024 NFL season and trade rumors about Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams are starting to pick up.
It all began with Sports Illustrated's Michael Fabiano, who reported that he's hearing Adams could be dealt sooner rather than later. Adding to that, Fabiano noted that Adams may have played his last snap with the Raiders.
Adams sat out the Week 4 game against the Cleveland Browns due to a hamstring injury and is reportedly week-to-week. However, Fabiano says that Adams could have played on Sunday.
“I’ve got little birds all over, right?” Fabiano said. “Some of my little birds out there are suggesting to me that there’s a chance he doesn’t play another down for the Raiders and that he could have played yesterday, but the Raiders are looking to deal him because they think they could get some value for him. They know they’re going nowhere this year, especially with the quarterback situation they have right now.
“I know there is going to be no shortage of teams that will be looking to try and acquire him, and I’m guessing the No. 1 team on that list is probably the New York Jets,” Fabiano added. “I would not be surprised, especially with the way the Jets are playing, and Garrett Wilson’s not playing like an alpha right now, that Davante Adams ends up with the Jets… If the Raiders get what hey want in a trade for Adams, he’s going to be gone.”
With business picking up, we're keeping track of all the latest trade rumors surrounding Adams in the wake of Fabiano's report. Check out all the latest updates below.

End of update
We have our first rumor coming from a reporter who is close to the team.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal's Vincent Bonsignore, who is a beat writer for the Raiders, is reporting Las Vegas is "open" to trading Adams and the team has begun making calls to teams to "gauge interest in the veteran wide receiver."

This is massive. It's one thing for someone who doesn't cover the team to report on Adams possibly being traded, but Bonsignore's report adds even more credibility to the idea. Stay tuned...
