Trade rumors surrounding Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams are heating up, as one NFL analyst has revealed something could be in the works pertaining to the star wideout being dealt.
According to Sports Illustrated's Michael Fabiano, he's hearing that there's a chance Adams has played his last down for the Raiders. Fabiano adds that Adams could've played in Week 4, when he was ruled out with a hamstring injury.
“I’ve got little birds all over, right?” Fabiano said. “Some of my little birds out there are suggesting to me that there’s a chance he doesn’t play another down for the Raiders and that he could have played yesterday, but the Raiders are looking to deal him because they think they could get some value for him. They know they’re going nowhere this year, especially with the quarterback situation they have right now.”
“I know there is going to be no shortage of teams that will be looking to try and acquire him, and I’m guessing the No. 1 team on that list is probably the New York Jets,” he added. “I would not be surprised, especially with the way the Jets are playing, and Garrett Wilson’s not playing like an alpha right now, that Davante Adams ends up with the Jets… If the Raiders get what hey want in a trade for Adams, he’s going to be gone.”
Don't be surprised if Davante Adams has already played his last snap with the Raiders, @Michael_Fabiano says 👀

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the hamstring injury Adams suffered at practice last Thursday has him week-to-week.
Schefter's report also added that the Raiders aren't trying to trade the star wideout at this time, which runs contrary to Fabiano's report. Adding to that, Schefter noted that the Raiders actually rebuffed teams that inquired about him, but that was over the summer.
Of course, Adams has said on multiple occasions that he doesn't want to be traded, with the latest iteration of his stance coming one week ago. During the offseason, Adams' agents also denied the possibility of the Raiders star getting traded.
“It’s funny that I have to say it every week for people,” Adams said on Up & Adams with Kay Adams. “Sometimes you just get to a point where you are secure enough in how you feel and who you are to where you just stop really worrying about what everybody is thinking all the time… At no point have I been voicing ‘I want to do this, or I want to do that.’ I’ve said millions of times if I want to do anything, I’d be gone by now.”
Things are clearly all over the place right now when it comes to Adams' status with the team, but we'll be keeping a close eye on the rumor mill for confirmation of what Fabiano is reporting.
