As the Davante Adams trade saga continues to unfold, the Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver isn't expected to be healthy enough to play in Week 6 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Adams is not expected to play in Week 6, as he's still dealing with a hamstring injury he suffered prior to the Week 4 game.
Of course, due to his trade request, Adams is not expected to play another snap for the Raiders after two-plus seasons with the team. The veteran wideout asked to be dealt last week, per reports, and a trade could come down sooner rather than later.
Davante Adams injury update
According to a report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport last week, Adams was expected to be fully healthy this week, so it's likely his absence is because of his trade demand rather than an actual injury.
Even if Adams is healthy enough to play, he wouldn't be suiting up for the Raiders.

While the Raiders and Adams are hoping for a quick conclusion to this ordeal, things might take longer than either side would like, as the Raiders are reportedly asking for a second-round pick plus additional compensation for Adams, a package nobody expects them to ultimately land.
Chances are, if the Raiders want to get so much as a second-round pick in return for the disgruntled wide receiver, they're going to have to eat some of the money owed to him. There has been nothing to suggest that's going to happen, but the longer this drags out, the more amenable to that Las Vegas might be.
According to Vic Tafur, Tashan Reed and Dianna Russini of The Athletic, the New York Jets, New Orleans Saints and Pittsburgh Steelers are all interested in Adams. Both the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs are "monitoring the situation," but Dallas will pass and Baltimore's and Washington's interest remains unclear.
