The Las Vegas Raiders dropped to 1-2 on the season after an embarrassing 36-22 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 3. Though Las Vegas' defense had a subpar outing, failing to contain Andy Dalton and Carolina's passing attack, the story of the afternoon was the poor performance of the Raiders' offense.
Luke Getsy's unit posted just 15 points and 258 total yards of offense, including a scoreless second and third quarter. After an impressive performance in Week 2, quarterback Gardner Minshew came crashing back down to earth, throwing for 214 yards, one touchdown, and one atrocious fourth-quarter interception.
Las Vegas was completely outplayed and outcoached from the start, and the offense was so lifeless that superstar wide receiver Davante Adams couldn't believe it on the sideline.
After a seven-point first half by the Raiders that saw the offense fail to sustain drives and run a competent operation, Adams was seen sitting on the bench and shaking his head while his team made its way to the locker room.

Adams, who finished the game with four catches for 40 yards, was involved in plenty of trade speculation over the summer, as many believed the future Hall of Famer was disgruntled in Las Vegas due to consecutive losing seasons and a clip from the Netflix series "Receiver" that showed Adams' clear frustration with the quarterback situation while Jimmy Garoppolo was at the helm in 2023.
Though these are just assumptions, it's clear that Adams is growing weary of the Raiders' losing ways. The team isn't capable of competing for a Super Bowl, and if the losses pile up, Adams could be on the move by the Nov. 5 trade deadline.
