Can we finally all admit that the NFL Top 100 list is meaningless?
Someway, somehow, after being named the NFL's top player in 2023, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes dropped three spots after leading the Chiefs to a second consecutive Super Bowl, and wasn't even named the best quarterback in football. That "honor" went to Lamar Jackson.

The three players in front of Mahomes were Christian McCaffery, Jackson, and Tyreek Hill - all of whom Mahomes beat in the postseason this past season to win a third championship.
The list is utterly flawed every season, but this is the diarrhea dressing on the toilet salad. The NFL should legitimately just stop doing this. This list is consistently embarrassing, and this iteration of it should be its last whimper.
