If the Kansas City Chiefs want to become the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowls, they will have to have some luck on their side.
Part of that luck will come in the form of a clean bill of health on both sides of the ball, which is why fans held their breath when linebacker Nick Bolton hurt his elbow and left practice on Wednesday. However, it appears Bolton wasn't seriously injured.
"While Chiefs ILB Nick Bolton left practice earlier today with an elbow injury, I'm told he is expected to be fine," Matt Verderame of Sports Illustrated said on X. "Avoiding any serious injury is both pivotal to KC's defense and for Bolton, who, on a personal level, is entering a contract year."

Avoiding any serious injury is both pivotal to KC’s defense and for Bolton who, on a personal level, is entering a contract year.
Bolton is coming off a year in which he only played in eight games due to injury.
