Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback has a lot of expectations, and frankly, a lot of doubters entering the 2024 season.
After starting 8-3 in 2023, the former No. 1 overall pick suffered a CVS receipt of injuries in the final month of the year, leading to the Jaguars dropping five of their final six games and missing the playoffs.
However, numbers don’t tell the full story with Lawrence, and the Jaguars were smart to realize that, giving Lawrence a five-year, $275 million extension. On top of that, Lawrence earned the respect of his peers, being named to the NFL Top 100 players list at No. 94.
Lawrence was the first quarterback to be named on the list, followed shortly by New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers at No. 92.

The Jaguars added deep ball threats to their offense in the form of Gabe Davis and first-round draft pick Brian Thomas Jr, so we can expect Lawrence to uncork the ball downfield more in 2024.
