The majority of NFL analysts are bullish that a breakout campaign is coming for Indianapolis Colts quarterback Antony Richardson.

The budding star has an electric skill set as a dual-threat quarterback possessing an incredible arm to go along with devastating skills as a runner.

The Colts only got a four-game sample of Richardson during his season before a shoulder injury ended his campaign extremely early.

But from what Richardson showed in that small sample gave Josh Edwards of CBS Sports enough reason to be a part of the latter's All-Breakout Team for 2024.

Richardson had flashes of brilliance but was largely up and down prior to his injury. The reason for confidence stems from head coach Shane Steichen's proficiency as an offensive play-caller, as well as the overall health of the offensive line and skill groups. Those elements alone should give Richardson a fighting chance to take a big leap forward in Year 2.

So much of Richardson's season will depend on his health. That's true for most players, but Richardson has to get through a full campaign before we can truly evaluate his progress.

The Colts are very optimistic that Richardson can provide game-changing talent in what should be a very competitive division and conference.

We'll see what's in store for the 22-year-old during his second season, but there are plenty of analysts who believe a big leap is coming.
