Indianapolis Colts safety Daniel Scott will once again miss the entire regular season due to an injury.

The second-year safety suffered a torn Achilles during OTAs last week, head coach Shane Steichen told reporters at minicamp Tuesday.

Scott was a fifth-round pick with the Colts during the 2023 NFL Draft. The versatile safety out of California was headed toward a depth role on defense and a prominent role on special teams.

However, Scott suffered a torn ACL during OTAs last year as well, ending his rookie season before it even had a chance to start.

Now, Scott will enter Year 3 of his career without having played a regular-season snap.
