The Indianapolis Colts got their top receiving target Michael Pittman Jr. under contract at the perfect time.

The former second-round pick inked a three-year contract extension worth $70 million this offseason, and given how the rest of the league has followed suit in contracts for their respective wideouts, the Colts are looking like major winners.

After a plethora of wide receivers signed new contracts this offseason, the Colts came out with a bargain.

Pittman is coming off a career season in which he recorded 109 receptions for 1,152 yards. He's been the leader of the passing attack for the last three seasons and was a major cog in the offense in Shane Steichen's first campaign as head coach.

The Colts managed to get this contract done with Anthony Richardson currently on his rookie deal, which makes a big difference for the next three seasons.

Pittman will continue to be the focal point of the passing offense, and his contract is already becoming a massive bargain.
