Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor was absent from practice at organized team activities (OTA) on Thursday.

The reason for Taylor's absence was personal, according to head coach Shane Steichen. He's expected to be back for mandatory minicamp next week.

Taylor is coming off a 2023 season that started late due to an ankle injury and a contract dispute. Both issues were resolved by midway through the season.

He finished the 2023 season with 169 carries for 741 rushing yards and seven touchdowns.
