Indianapolis Colts defensive end Tyquan Lewis has had a stressful journey during his time in the NFL, but he's beginning to get the recognition he deserves.

After dealing with a torn patellar tendon in consecutive seasons, Lewis finally put together a strong campaign as one of the Colts' most consistent pass rushers.

His strong 2023 season is why Matt Holder of Bleacher Report dubbed Lewis the team's best-kept secret.

While Lewis only has 16 career starts in six seasons and had none last year, he's been an effective pass-rusher off the bench and had a strong performance in 2023.

The 2018 second-round pick registered four sacks and 44 total pressures, per Pro Football Focus, which is impressive considering he only rushed the passer 259 times

The Colts re-signed Lewis to a two-year deal this offseason, keeping the rotational pass rusher in town to ensure there is viable depth on the defensive line.

Though the exact rotation remains unclear with Laiatu Latu being the team's first-round draft pick, Lewis should continue to hold a solid rotational role as a pass rusher.
