It's no secret Anthony Richardson's biggest weapon is his legs.

The starting quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts played in only four games during his rookie season, but it was easy to see just how quickly he can make an impact as a runner.

Just look at the Week 2 game against the Houston Texans last year.

Of course, Richardson missed the majority of his rookie season due to a shoulder injury that occurred when he was tackled as a runner.

So being smart is definitely an area of focus for the second-year quarterback. But that doesn't mean the Colts want him to stop running.

Following the first training camp practice Thursday, Steichen compared Richardson's rushing ability to that of Steph Curry's sharpshooting skills.

Head coach Shane Steichen is essentially saying Richardson could be the greatest rushing quarterback of all time.

Wild comparisons aside, the Colts don't need to limit Richardson's rushing ability. It's what makes him such a dangerous threat to opposing defenses.

Being smart is what's going to keep him healthy even though injuries are mostly unpredictable. But using his legs will be the key to unlocking the elite upside of the Colts offense.

We'll see how much changes when Richardson starts playing in games again, but fans should expect plenty of rushing from the starting quarterback
