The Texans don't have a first-round pick as of this writing, so Houston will have to wait until Day 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft to make its picks unless general manager Nick Caserio trades back into Day 1 of the draft.

Houston has several needs and will have three selections on the second day of the draft — two in the first round (Nos. 42 and 59) and one in the third round (No. 86). This will be the "sweet spot" Caserio and head coach DeMeco Ryans spoke about throughout the offseason and pre-draft process.

However, history hasn't been too kind to those selections. Here's a look back at the 10-year history of the Texans' three selections on Day 2. While the second-round picks didn't result in much success, teams did have success with the third-round selection.
