The Green Bay Packers are looking like a team that should contend in 2024.

Green Bay overachieved in 2023 and now has even higher expectations after a solid offseason. The Packers landed running back Josh Jacobs and added some intriguing talent throughout the National Football League Draft.

The Packers are on the upswing but more depth should be considered with training camp almost here and plenty of cap space still available.

Bleacher Report's Alex Ballentine put together a list of possible roster holes that still need to be addressed and mentioned offensive line depth as a way the franchise could improve. One player he mentioned as a possible option to help is former Chicago Bears Pro Bowler Charles Leno.

"Signing a veteran at either tackle or guard would give the Packers some added insurance that they can have a good offensive line in the first weeks of the season," Ballentine said. "Greg Van Roten is an ideal target at guard. The 34-year-old played well with the Raiders last season and should be interested in an offensive system as lineman-friendly as Green Bay's. Charles Leno might be the best available tackle option."

Leno is a 10-year NFL veteran who has spent time with the Bears and Washington Commanders. He spent the first seven seasons of his career in Chicago and the last three with Washington.

He is a one-time Pro Bowler who likely could add needed depth to the Packers' offensive line without breaking the bank. If the Packers want to add another big body, they should give Leno a call.
