Entering the 2024 NFL season, the Detroit Lions were desperately looking for one of their wide receivers to step into the No. 3 role behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams.
After failing to find that guy during the offseason, the Lions brought in multiple wide receivers on the practice squad, including veteran wideout Tim Patrick. That move has been paying dividends through four-plus games.
Patrick has settled in nicely to the No. 3 role and was fresh off his best game of the season coming out of the bye after he tallied two catches for 52 yards in a Week 4 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
But Patrick didn't rest on his laurels in the Week 6 game against the Dallas Cowboys, with the Lions receiver showing incredible concentration on an amazing catch on a deep ball from quarterback Jared Goff that was good for 42 yards in the first quarter.

The Lions would go on to score a touchdown two plays later to take an early 7-3 lead over the Cowboys.
Patrick has had to overcome unfathomable adversity over the last two years, with the veteran wide receiver suffering two serious injuries the past two seasons. But he is clearly all the way back and has found a new home in Detroit.
