Lost in all the hoopla of last night's Detroit Lions uniforms reveal was the fact that safety Kerby Joseph provided an injury update after having offseason surgery.
Joseph, who was in attendance last night and rocking the all-black alternate uniform, revealed that he won't be cleared to practice until training camp.
"I’m good, man," Joseph said, per Davie Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. "A little hiccup but that ain’t nothing. Nothing can stop J-Kerb. I’m going to go all the way."

Joseph suffered the injury early in the season against the Seattle Seahawks but says it did not impact his play on the field.
"If I'm out there, I'm going 100%," Joseph said. "Ain’t no hinderance. I'm going to give it all I got every time. No excuses."
Joseph's status will certainly be worth monitoring during the offseason, as he's returning to a starting role in 2024. He's expected to be flanked by Ifeatu Melifonwu, who started alongside Joseph last season.
However, there could be a shake-up at the position in the near future, as head coach Dan Campbell has made it clear that Detroit is looking to add to the the group.
