There is a reportedly a whole host of teams that have interest in trading up in the 2024 NFL Draft, and the Detroit Lions are one of them.

According to Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report, the Lions are one of several teams showing the most interest in making a deal to move up. For who remains to be seen, though.

This basically echoes an earlier report by MMQB's Albert Breer that stated that the Lions were one of the teams exploring a trade up in the first round. Breer said that the Lions would likely be targeting a cornerback or edge rusher.

You know what they say: where there's smoke, there's fire and there has been no shortage of smoke around the Lions being interested in a trade up.

With Detroit in win-now mode, they can certainly afford to give up assets to get aggressive and land a player they truly covet. Ideally, it'll be a player who can help them right away in a season in which the Lions have Super Bowl aspirations.
