Now that the Detroit Lions' offseason program is in the books, we're taking a look at a starting offense projection for the team ahead of the 2024 NFL season.
The Lions wrapped up their voluntary organized team activities earlier this week (although one practice had to be forfeited due to a rules violation), and they already went through their three-day mandatory minicamp last week.
Now, Detroit will get a month-plus break before training camp, which is set to begin in late July. That's when the competitions throughout the roster will really heat up.
After going over a projection for the starting defense, we're now breaking down what the starting offense will look like in 2024. Here's our projection, along with some analysis afterwards.

Analysis
Kevin Zeitler stated in his introductory press conference that he was brought in to play right guard, where he has played nearly every snap of his career. That means Graham Glasgow will be moving to the left side in 2024, where he played during his rookie and sophomore campaigns.
Kalif Raymond isn't exactly a prototypical boundary receiver at his size, but he does deserve to be listed among the starters after an impressive spring. The Lions utilized him out wide for over 600 snaps the past three seasons, and Amon-Ra St. Brown is also capable of kicking to the outside if needed.
We have David Montgomery listed as the starter at running back, but he's going to split work with Jahmyr Gibbs, so don't read too much into that. In fact, the Lions have made it clear they're looking to get Gibbs more work, especially in the passing game, so he could pull ahead of Montgomery by year's end.
All in all, there aren't really any surprises here. Barring a significant addition at the wide receiver position, things are set in stone for Detroit on offense ahead of the 2024 campaign.
