The Detroit Lions have officially wrapped up signing their 2024 NFL Draft class after the team agreed to terms on a four-year rookie contract with first-round pick and cornerback, Terrion Arnold.

Arnold was selected with the No. 24 overall pick in the draft after the Lions traded up to get him. The Alabama product was widely considered one of the best at his position in the draft and has the potential to be a lockdown corner.

"I'm a shutdown corner," Arnold said after being drafted, per to Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com. "I'm coming in to go at receiver ones at the rip. I feel like I was already coming in with a chip on my shoulder just based on the draft and how everything was going.

According to Spotrac, Arnold's four-year deal is worth $14.3 million and includes a signing bonus of $7.2 million. He'll account for a cap hit of $2.6 million in his first season in the NFL.

So far this offseason, Arnold has shown plenty of promise. Not only has he notched a pair of interceptions in practices, he's also held his own against Lions wide receivers and appears to be acclimating well.

And, as expected, Arnold has been seeing first-team reps on the boundary opposite Carlton Davis, which puts him on track to start in Year 1. The 21-year-old will look further solidify his spot when training camp rolls around in late July.
