The Detroit Lions got quite the scare during the Week 2 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after star wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown had to leave the field on multiple occasions due to an apparent leg injury.
St. Brown first exited in the third quarter before returning. But St. Brown had to hobble off the field again in the fourth quarter and fell to the sideline once he got there.
Thankfully, the news was positive on St. Brown after the game, with ESPN's Adam Schefter reporting that St. Brown was dealing with a contusion and cramps. Head coach Dan Campbell later confirmed there is no long-term concern for St. Brown.
While that's all well and good, there has yet to be confirmation that St. Brown will suit up in Week 3. On Wednesday, the Lions released their first injury report of the week, giving us some insight into his status ahead of Sunday.
Amon-Ra St. Brown injury update
According to the Lions' first injury report of the week, St. Brown was listed with a quadriceps injury but was a full participant in practice, which fully puts him on track to play in Week 3.
Here’s the practice report for the Lions today. It’s a knee for OL Graham Glasgow, who didn’t practice at all.

After having a quiet Week 1 against the Los Angeles Rams with just three catches for 13 yards, St. Brown returned to form in Week 2 against the Bucs, posting team-highs in receptions (11) and receiving yards (119) on an astounding 19 targets.
He'll look to keep the good times rolling when the Lions travel to Arizona to take on the Cardinals in Week 3. St. Brown is in search of his first touchdown of 2024.
