The Denver Broncos have much to look forward to in 2024 with a new franchise quarterback being drafted in the first round. After missing the playoffs in each year since 2015, fans are eager to see the team back on the field.

The Broncos got off to a horrendous start in 2023 before going on a run that put them squarely into the playoff picture. But after a poor finish, it was clear that the team needed to move in a new direction and that's what this offseason has shown.

The Broncos finished the 2023 season at 8-9, third place in the AFC West.

The schedule for the Broncos in 2024 will not be easy

The Broncos don't get a break despite their recent struggles. According to Warren Sharp of Sharp Football Analysis, only a handful of teams will have a more difficult schedule.

Getting the third-place schedule did not help the Broncos this coming season as they will face the eighth-hardest schedule in the league. Sean Payton will have his hands full getting the team back into contention this year and soon, he and the rest of the world will find out exactly how that schedule will look.

Though an exact release date has not been given, the schedule is expected to be revealed soon.

As a reminder, here are the teams that the Broncos will face this coming season:

Home

Kansas City
Las Vegas
Los Angeles Chargers
Cleveland
Pittsburgh
Atlanta
Carolina
Indianapolis

Away

Kansas City
Las Vegas
Los Angeles Chargers
Baltimore
Cincinnati
Tampa Bay
New Orleans
Seattle
New York Jets

Though the exact difficulty of the schedule can be quite fluid, as things currently stand, Broncos fans can expect it to be tough sledding.
