After the Denver Broncos made the selection of Bo Nix to be their next quarterback, the idea of the team also adding wide receiver Troy Franklin was an exciting one. In the fourth round, the Broncos traded up with the Seattle Seahawks to make it a reality. 

And if you are a Broncos fan, you are going to love what you are about to watch. 

 

Now how cool is that?

The Broncos have had John Elway and the Three Amigos. They have had Elway and Shannon Sharpe, Elway and Rod Smith and Peyton Manning and Demaryius Thomas. And now, the team has the Oregon Ducks connection of Nix and Franklin.

In college, Nix completed 142 passes for 2,274 yards and 22 touchdowns in just 26 games to Franklin. It remains to be seen what the Broncos will do with veteran wide receiver Courtland Sutton, but there is zero doubt that this is the connection of the future.
