The Denver Broncos are still getting no love from most of the NFL analysts out there as 2025 mock drafts are projecting them to be a bad team.
In the most recent mock put out by ESPN's Matt Miller, the Broncos have the No. 3 overall pick in the draft. With that pick, they make the first choice of a defensive player in the draft.
While the placement at No. 3 overall means the team had a rough 2024 season, the player they get with this pick according to Miller would be tough to complain about.
Denver Broncos select Michigan CB Will Johnson in 2025 mock draft
Miller has the Broncos taking Will Johnson, the best cornerback in the class. If they were able to pair him opposite Pat Surtain II, the team could have the best cornerback duo in football and that is something that won't come close to happening with their current crop of corners.
Will Johnson is a true lockdown corner and has great size at 6-foot-2. He also shows terrific ball skills.

The thought of putting him on the other side of the field from Surtain is tantalizing and could change the Denver defense overnight. However, for this thought to come to fruition, Broncos fans would have to suffer through another rough year and that's something they don't even want to think about right now.
The entire 2024 season lies ahead, but if things go awry, Johnson's is a name to remember.
