For a fifth-round pick, the Denver Broncos found great value in selecting Kris Abrams-Draine. It was a position the Broncos needed to further address despite signing Levi Wallace as a free agent earlier in the week.

Abrams-Draine is coming off of a big season with the Tigers where he had over 50 tackles and collected four interceptions. He offers flexibility as a coverage man but is a natural tackler in the running game, giving him the upside of being a complete cornerback.

The Broncos have Pat Surtain II but the team needs to find the right mix of guys to put around him this season. Wallace was a solid veteran signing and if Ja'Quan McMillian is able to build off of his terrific 2023 campaign while adding a player such as Abrams-Draine to the mix, this cornerback group can make some noise.

That all leads to a high grade here as the Broncos may have found a true impact player in the fifth round.

Grade: A-
