Despite changes, PFF says Denver Broncos' roster ranks dead last in the league image

The Denver Broncos are a team looking to pick itself up off the mat after years of failing to find success. Most of those within the mainstream media don't believe in that happening, at least not in 2024.

A recent ESPN simulation has the Broncos selecting at the No. 3 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Now, a recent roster review shows the Broncos to be getting even less respect than that. Jim Wyman and Dalton Wasserman of Pro Football Focus recently ranked each roster in the NFL and they put the Broncos at No. 32 — at the very bottom.

The Broncos are certainly being viewed as one of the worst teams in the league and until they start winning, that is not going to change. But the worst roster in the NFL? That seems a bit extreme.

Most of this starts at the quarterback position and many analysts will say that the Broncos have the worst quarterback room in the league. Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson don't exactly elicit hope and most saw Bo Nix as an extreme reach in the draft.

As for the rest of the roster, PFF sees the offensive line as the team's biggest strength while listing the entire defense as a weakness.

Troy Franklin was identified as the top rookie to watch and Nix as the team's biggest X-factor. In addition, Wyman and Wasserman made their pick on the Broncos' win total of 5.5 games this coming season, and they took the under.

The Broncos have some work to do in order to get back the respect the franchise once commanded.
