Following the 2024 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos signed Jordan Miller as part of their undrafted crop of free agents.
Miller will play along the defensive line and though he will be way down on the depth chart, that is an area where the Broncos don't have the most depth. Let's take a look at his chances of making the team.
Name: Jordan Miller
Height: 6-foot-2
Weight: 304
Hometown: Jacksonville, FL
Position: Defensive Tackle
School: SMU
Denver Broncos undrafted rookie spotlight
Miller began his college career at the University of Miami, playing in 48 games for the Hurricanes. He then transferred to SMU in 2023 and spent his final year there. When looking at his college stats, you don't think of a guy ready to break out in the pros.
SMU defensive lineman Jordan Miller is a solid get by the #Broncos as an undrafted free agent. He gets a $15,000 signing bonus and an additional $125,000 of his contract guaranteed for a total guarantee of $140,000.

Miller had 86 tackles and 3.5 sacks during his college career. At SMU, he had a chance to be a full-time starter but he didn't show enough to be considered a huge pro prospect so it wasn't a huge surprise to see him go undrafted.
In Denver, he will have several experienced veterans in front of him and he will have a hard time leap-frogging any of them without an unforeseen preseason.
Chances of making 53-man roster (1-10 scale): 1
Miller offers almost nothing as a pass-rusher, so his job will be to clog the running lane and make quick stops on running backs to force second and third-and-long situations.
Miller should be able to flash his ability in a one-gap defensive front but he still has guys like D.J. Jones, Angelo Blackson, and Malcolm Roach in front of him. His likely goal is a spot on the practice squad and that is what he'll be playing for this summer.
The Broncos have several undrafted free agents with legitimate chances of making the team this year but Miller needs to develop much more and the team has experienced talent to work with that is way ahead of him.
