The Denver Broncos will hold a three-day minicamp starting Tuesday, this of the "mandatory" variety whereas the last one was considered voluntary. This will be the team's final tune-up before training camp opens in late July.
The Broncos are a team with many questions to answer and with only three days, the answers aren't going to come, at least not completely. But, fans could start to get a better glimpse of what the team may do in certain areas as well as what to make of some of the news and rumors that are out there regarding this team.
As we keep tabs on the team over this three-day stretch, here are the biggest storylines to follow.
Denver Broncos top minicamp storylines
How will Courtland Sutton look?
Easily the top player to watch in this camp, outside of the quarterbacks, is going to be wide receiver Courtland Sutton, who has confirmed that he will end his mini-holdout and join the team.
Sutton will get his first chance to work with some of the quarterbacks that are now on the roster and show whether he is ready to take charge as the team's clear No. 1 receiver. He wants a pay increase to prove that he is that, but will he be able to show that he is worth that? Will there be any signs of rust from the long layoff? Sutton has kept himself in shape and is not asking for a massive pay increase, so it seems like it is something the two sides may come to a quick agreement on.
But first, Sutton needs to join his team and demonstrate what he can do in what will certainly be a completely different offense.
What to make of Zach Wilson as a potential QB1
Depending on who you talk to, Zach Wilson is either absolutely terrible or has a legitimate shot to be the team's starting quarterback come Week 1. There doesn't seem to be a middle area.
Bo Nix, the team's first-round draft pick who has been anointed the future of the franchise as such, will be his main opposition. There doesn't seem to be much support in the favor of Jarrett Stidham getting that job.

The Broncos don't want to rush Nix out onto the field, there is simply no reason to. But is Wilson, who struggled mightily in his time with the New York Jets, a potential short-term answer or just a guy who was drafted way higher than he ever had any business being drafted?
It will be interesting to see where this competition goes.
Javonte Williams and the rest of the running backs
The running back position is one of the more intriguing on this roster at the moment and that starts with presumed starter, Javonte Williams.

Williams had a rough 2023 season and still doesn't look like the player he was pre-knee injury even now. The team wants to give him time to get back to that, or close to it, but it can't wait forever. Is there a chance he never gets back to that level? Unfortunately, yes.
Rookie running backs Audric Estime and Blake Watson will be fun to watch all summer, as will second-year player Jaleel McLaughlin. If Williams has forever lost a step, the team needs to know there is enough behind him as an insurance policy.
