Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Troy Franklin took to Instagram following the tragic news of former Oregon teammate Khyree Jackson, who was killed in a car accident early Saturday morning.

Jackson was a fourth-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings in this past spring's draft. He was set to play cornerback for the team in the 2024 season and was a player with a ton of promise. Franklin remembered him with a post on IG. Sometimes, there are no words.

Franklin was also selected in the fourth round of the draft, just six picks ahead of Jackson.

Jackson played one season at Oregon after transferring over from Alabama. He had quite the story he was getting ready to tell the entire NFL world after nearly quitting football and working at a grocery store.

Jackson was also a fan of Franklin's ability.

This is a tragic loss for Jackson's family, former teammates and football fans around the world.
