Bo Nix addressed the media on Friday, hours after being made the No. 12 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos.

The pick has been scrutinized by many analysts because of how high it was made, but Broncos head coach Sean Payton was extremely confident in the move.

Nix answered many questions at the podium and talked about what it meant to be drafted by Payton, his goals as a rookie and his definition of a quarterback with a good processor, among other things.

Denver Broncos have Bo Nix, who will they add on Day 2 of the draft?

The Broncos will now need to look at adding some players to help Nix in the future. While it is no guarantee that he will open the season as the starting quarterback, he has been tabbed as the future of this current regime. With that in mind, the team will need to bring in some players he can get the ball to in the passing game.

There are still some great players on the board, but the fact that the Broncos don't have another pick until the third round is a hindrance.

What stood out about Nix's introductory press conference was how well-spoken he was and how intelligently and thoughtfully he answered each question. Combined with the things that he did on the field as a college player, it's not hard to see how Payton fell in love with the idea of drafting him.

Nix then concluded the press conference to be the first Broncos player to publicly hold up the team's new jersey, the picture of a brand new era of Broncos football.
