The 2024 NFL season is already over for Denver Broncos offensive lineman Quinn Bailey as an ankle injury suffered during Wednesday's training camp practice has landed him on injured reserve.

This is a tough blow for Bailey, who has been with the team since 2019 after going undrafted out of Arizona State. In five seasons, he's bounced between the practice squad and active roster, playing in 21 games and making one career start.

Bailey is the ideal backup offensive lineman as he can be plugged in at multiple positions along the offensive line. He would have been in contention to do that again this season but this injury puts his future in Denver in question. In fact, It seems that Sean Payton was impressed enough to play Bailey this season in his jumbo packages.

Broncos sign offensive lineman Oliver Jervis

Oliver Jervis was one of several players the Broncos brought in at the beginning of the week for tryouts. He will take the roster spot that was occupied by Bailey.

Jervis is an undrafted free agent out of Colorado State. He spent the first part of his college career at Monmouth before transferring to CSU last season, where he started all 12 games for the team.

He will have incredibly difficult odds of making the 53-man roster, but he will get the opportunity to show the coaching staff that he could be a key contributor down the road, which could land him a spot on the practice squad.
