The 2024 NFL Draft concluded less than a week ago and mock drafters are already predicting how the 2025 event could look. One of those in particular sticks out for fans of the Denver Broncos, and not in a good way.

Walter Football, one of the top mock draft sites out there, recently published a look at the 2025 draft and not only do they have the Broncos drafting with the first overall pick (meaning they will be the worst team in the league this year) but they also have them drafting another quarterback?

What?

Yes. And not just any quarterback, but Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders, son of the legendary Deion Sanders. You have to be kidding, right?

Well, maybe not. Because if this scenario were to happen, the selection of Bo Nix likely went really badly and if the Broncos were on the board with the No. 1 pick, it would likely be a discussion the team would have to have. As Walter Football points out, the Arizona Cardinals used the No. 1 overall pick on Kyler Murray one year after using a first-round pick on Josh Rosen.

Broncos fans will have much higher aspirations and most will likely be predicting a playoff berth for the Broncos this season. But it's obvious that some expect them to be a really bad football team and that could lead to some huge questions.
