The Denver Broncos may have a chance of getting a former fourth-round pick back in the lineup. Eyioma Uwazurike, who was suspended indefinitely for allegedly gambling on games, including those he played in, can apply for reinstatement.
The defensive lineman missed all of the 2023 season after the allegations. However, the Arapahoe County District Attorney has decided not to file charges in the matter, opening the door for Uwazurike to begin the process of returning to the football field.

Uwazurie was selected in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. The team has high hopes for him ahead of the 2023 season, but this case put all of that in doubt. For his career, he has a total of 17 tackles.

Sean Payton: “We want him back, but we don’t have that same control. We can’t tell you we are going to anticipate it, but we will see with the powers that be.”
The Broncos could use more help at the defensive line spot, especially if Uwazurike has as much promise as he did coming out of college. How soon he could potentially rejoin the team remains to be seen.
