Earlier this week, Denver Broncos fans displayed their admiration for their newly drafted quarterback, Bo Nix.
In the video, per Jake Goetz, Nix can be seen throwing an extremely accurate pass to veteran receiver Courtland Sutton. Nix’s ability to place the football right where only his receivers can get it has made Broncos fans hopeful for what is in store for the upcoming 2024 season.
Drafted out of the University of Oregon, Nix proved he was NFL ready by putting up over 4,500 yards, 45 touchdowns, and only three interceptions in his 2023 season with the ducks.
However, the Broncos have yet to decide on who is going to start this season at quarterback. Back in late April, the Broncos acquired the number two overall pick of the 2019 draft in Zach Wilson from the New York Jets. While Wilson’s 13-21 overall record isn’t much to look at, the Broncos coaching staff have a tough decision to either start the seasoned quarterback or the Oregon rookie.
Fortunately, the Denver Broncos still have time to make that decision, as the first official game does not start until September 8, where they head to Seattle to take on the Seahawks.
In the meantime, Broncos Country can catch their team as they face the Colts in Indianapolis on Sunday, August 11 at 1:00 PM EST or on NFL Network and NFL +.
I don’t remember the last time I seen a broncos QB make a successful back shoulder pass https://t.co/NLkBAWp2l4
