The Denver Broncos have issued jersey numbers to the incoming rookie class and Bo Nix is going to wear the same number he wore during his college career, No. 10.

These jersey numbers were highly anticipated and the announcement comes as the team is getting set to open rookie Minicamp on Friday. Nix, who played at both Auburn and Oregon, wore number 10 at both schools.

Zach Wilson, who came over to the Broncos in a trade and wore No. 2 when with the New York Jets, will now wear No. 4.

The number 10 was most recently worn by Jerry Jeudy, who was traded to the Cleveland Browns this offseason. Here are the other players to wear No. 10 throughout the history of the Broncos:

John McCormick, QB: 1963-66
Jim LeClair, QB: 1967-68
Steve Ramsey, QB: 1971-76
Bucky Dilts, Punter: 1977-78
Mark Hermann, QB, 1982
Triandos Luke, WR: 2004
Todd Sauerbrun, Punter: 2005-07
Cliff Russell, WR: 2008
Emmanuel Sanders, WR: 2014-19
Jerry Jeudy: 2020-23

Nix will be the fifth quarterback to wear No. 10 for the Broncos and the first since Mark Hermann in 1982. Hermann was part of the trade in 1983 to acquire John Elway from the Baltimore Colts.
