Broncos injury report: Team has clean slate, but Seahawks could be without key player in Week 1 image

The Denver Broncos have had a great offseason in terms of injury-related fortune and the team will have a full complement of players in Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks. However, the Seahawks have some players who are a bit banged up.

Looking at the final injury report released by the Seahawks ahead of Sunday's game, the first name that pops out is that of wide receiver Tyler Lockett. The nine-year veteran is a huge piece of Seattle's offense but he is dealing with a thigh injury that has left him questionable for the contest.

The Seahawks will also be without linebacker Uchenna Nwosu (knee) and tight end Pharoah Brown (foot) for the game.

If Lockett is unable to play, it's a major weapon the Denver defense will not have to worry about.

Denver Broncos have no injuries ahead of Week 1

For a team that has seemed snakebitten in recent years, this is a terrific way for the Broncos to start this season. Of course, there are players on the PUP and injured reserve lists, but no one on the current 53-man roster has an injury designation for this game.

For a team starting a rookie quarterback in Week 1 for the first time in 40 years, that's a huge confidence booster.

The Broncos and Seahawks will kick off their season at 2:05 pm MT on Sunday.
