The Dallas Cowboys have proven that they can find gems in the NFL draft. Their front office is led by Jerry Jones but the work that Stephen Jones and his scouting department has been solidified with their recent picks. Two of those picks faced off in training camp on Tuesday when they went at each other and proved that both were more than ready for it.
Solidified defensive star Micah Parsons went up against their latest first-round pick Tyler Guyton. The 2024 NFL Draft pick is working on making a move from right tackle to left so some people had reasonable questions about how the move would go.
If Tuesday was any indication, he will do just fine.

Bobby Belt of The Fan in Dallas posted all the “rounds” that Parsons and Guyton had when they faced off against each other. The two players each took turns winning reps but they showed something important, adapting.
For Guyton especially, he showed that when he loses a rep he is able to adapt and be ready for what the defender brings the next rep. He showed that time and again at Oklahoma, and it seems he isn’t slowing down his processing power, even with the speed of the NFL game being up.
