One of the biggest storylines surrounding the Dallas Cowboys this offseason has been the contract situation with star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who is seeking a lucrative, long-term deal ahead of his fifth season in the NFL.

Lamb has gotten better each and every year he's been in the league, with the 2023 campaign being his best. The wideout tallied career-highs in receptions (135), receiving yards (1,749) and touchdowns (12).

While we don't know when Lamb's deal will get done, we do know it's going to be for an astounding amount of money. As things stand now, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is tops at the position after inking a four-year, $140 million deal, and Lamb's contract should at least approach that.

As he waits for his contract, Lamb is set to host a youth football camp on July 9, 10 and 20, but reporters hoping for him to comment on his contract situation will be disappointed.

Lamb took to social media on Monday afternoon to make it very clear he won't be talking about it with reporters who attend his football camp.

"I’m not speaking about any contract negotiations, if that’s your questions," Lamb tweeted. "You’ll get 0 answers. It’s about the kids."

Lamb's stance is certainly understandable. After all, the attention should be on his camp and the kids rather than his contract situation.

Furthermore, there really isn't much of substance for Lamb to say as he and the Cowboys continue to work through negotiations.
