The Dallas Cowboys were set to have one of the best pass rushing groups in the league heading into the year with Micah Parsons, DeMarcus Lawrence, Sam Williams, and rookie Marshawn Kneeland ready to get after the quarterback. This group hit a set back today however, as third year pro and rising star Sam Williams reportedly is feared to have torn his ACL in practice on Sunday.

This is obviously hard news to swallow for a Dallas team that is set up for a potential Super Bowl run. Williams is coming off his best season as a pro with 4.5 sacks and was set to improve on it as a valuable depth rusher behind Parsons and Lawrence. Rookie Marshawn Kneeland will need to step up to provide that depth should the news of an ACL tear stick. Camp has been a constant news strain for the Dallas Cowboys, who have to be hoping for some kind of good news in the coming weeks with their most recent loss.
