The Dallas Cowboys may not win Super Bowls these days, but they still lead the league in drama.
America's Team is, apparently, almost universally hated by fans of other NFL teams. A recent set of polls highlighted that sentiment to a significant degree.
According to a survey by agamble.com, the Cowboys have the second-rudest fans in the NFL. Only the Philadelphia Eagles' fans "topped" that ranking.
"From tossing bottles and debris at NFL officials to boastfully bragging about their team, Dallas Cowboys fans have a reputation for unsportsmanlike behavior. According to respondents, Cowboys fans rank as the second-rudest in the league."
In case you have forgotten, here is an example of that rude behavior:
It’s Week 1 and Cowboys fans booed and threw trash at Dak Prescott as he headed back to the locker room with an injury pic.twitter.com/h98iAOZoXc

Additionally, Dak Prescott is ranked third rudest quarterback in the NFL, behind New York Jets gunslinger Aaron Rodgers and Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson.
Head coach Mike McCarthy was ranked fifth among rudest head coaches, and he was ranked first among coaches seen to have the thinnest skin. Ouch.
As for how the survey information was obtained, here is the methodology:
"In August 2024, we conducted a nationwide survey to gather insights into the perceived behavior of NFL fans, head coaches, and starting quarterbacks. The survey sample comprised 1,200 participants who regularly watch the NFL, selected from diverse demographic backgrounds across the United States. Demographics: The survey respondents included 42% females, 57% males, and 1% identifying as non-binary/non-conforming. The average age of the respondents was 42 years. Limitations: The survey responses rely on self-reporting, which may be subject to recall bias or social desirability bias."
