The Dallas Cowboys made fans wait all offseason, but they finally have locked down their star quarterback to a long-term deal.
The Cowboys and Dak Prescott agreed to a four-year, $240 million deal according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. That deal makes Prescott the first $60 million per year player in NFL history, and he is also the player with the most guaranteed money in NFL history.
Per Spotrac, Prescott is getting $231 million in guaranteed money, which is $1 million more than the Cleveland Browns gave quarterback Deshaun Watson upon trading for him and signing him to an extension in 2022. On top of that, Prescott's $80 million signing bonus is the largest in NFL history.
