Many NFL players have supportive parents who have helped them on their journey through the years of midget, middle, high school, and college football. Those parents continue to support their children in the NFL by showing up at training camp practices and games and are often unnoticed in the crowd of adoring fans.
One of those parents, Lawrence Garrett, had a moment with his son Myles Garrett, today at the Cleveland Browns training camp that gives fans a glimpse of what they did together as Myles grew up.
While carrying a football, Myles scanned the crowd in the bleachers at Browns' open training camp practice on Thursday looking for his dad. When he saw him, Myles gave him a motion indicating that Lawrence should be ready for a throw. The Garretts connected on the pass, and Lawrence Garrett handed off the ball to another fan in the stands.

As the reigning DPOTY, Myles Garrett is a crazy good athlete who earned the highest individual honor for an NFL defensive player in 2023, but he is not satisfied with individual honors. He wants to bring a championship to the deserving fans in Cleveland. These same fans are so excited by the pitch and catch between Myles Garrett and his dad; it is hard to fathom how crazy Cleveland would be if the Browns won their first-ever Super Bowl.
