Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow came to play against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
The franchise quarterback had been finding his groove in recent weeks and saved a career day for a crucial matchup against a division rival in Week 5.
Ultimately, it wasn't enough as the Bengals fell 41-38 in overtime to the Ravens and now start the season 1-4.
Entering this matchup, Burrow had recorded four passing touchdowns four separate times throughout his career.
On Sunday, Burrow exploded for five passing touchdowns for the first time in his career, leading the way in a barnburner against the Ravens.

Then, just before the end of the second quarter with nine seconds remaining, Burrow took a massive hit. However, not before laying a perfect ball in the basket for a 41-yard touchdown to Ja'Marr Chase.

Burrow came out hot in the third quarter to find Higgins again for their second touchdown connection of the day on a five-yard touchdown pass.

To begin the fourth quarter, Burrow found Chase Brown in the flat for a four-yard touchdown to put the Bengals up 31-21, capping off a 12-play, 70-yard drive.

After the Ravens answered with a Charlie Kolar touchdown, Burrow came right back with a 70-yard touchdown to Chase, which was a massive catch-and-run for the star wide receiver.

The Bengals didn't get the win despite putting up 38 points, but Burrow had an incredible day as his strong season continues.
