The Cincinnati Bengals (0-3) are still searching for their first win of the season as they visit the Carolina Panthers (1-2) at Bank of America Stadium.
The Week 4 matchup will feature a Bengals offense that has looked much improved over the last two weeks, and they will compete against a familiar face on the other sideline.
After the Panthers made the surprising decision to bench former No. 1 overall pick Bryce Young, they turned to veteran and former Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton. He helped lead the way to a shocking 36-22 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on the road.
On the final injury report, the Bengals ruled two players out, listed one player as doubtful and two players as questionable. Meanwhile, Carolina ruled three players out and three as questionable ahead of the Sunday's matchup.
Bengals vs. Panthers Week 4: Full injury designations
Cincinnati Bengals
Out
- DT Sheldon Rankins (hamstring)
- OT Trent Brown (knee)
Rankins hasn't practiced in two weeks since suffering a hamstring injury, and Brown was placed on the Reserve/Injured list after suffering a torn patellar tendon in his right knee during the Week 3 loss to the Washington Commanders.
Doubtful
- DT B.J. Hill (hamstring)
Hill exited the game against the Kansas City Chiefs with an injury in Week 2 and hasn't practiced since.
Questionable
- TE Tanner Hudson (knee)
- S Daijahn Anthony (illness)
Hudson is a true game-time decision. He failed to practice Wednesday and Thursday but was limited on Friday. Anthony was added to the injury report Friday after not practicing with an illness.
No Designation
- QB Joe Burrow (wrist)
- LB Jon BAchie (wrist)
- WR Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder)
- DE Trey Hendrickson (illness)
- DT Kris Jenkins (thumb)
All five players were full participants during Friday's practice. Burrow has been a full participant all season so it's unclear why he's still popping up on the injury report. Chase was limited to begin the week but logged two full practices while Hendrickson was out for the first two practices but logged a full practice on Friday.
Carolina Panthers
Out
- CB Lonnie Johnson (hip)
- G Damien Lewis (elbow)
- DT Shy Tuttle (foot)
Johnson is a special teams player while Tuttle has rotated along the defensive line. Lewis is a starting guard for the Panthers.
Questionable
- DT A'Shawn Robinson (knee)
- WR Diontae Johnson (groin)
- OT Robert Hunt (hip)
All three were limited participants at practice Friday while Johnson is expected to play and be the target leader from Dalton. Robinson is a key piece to a struggling run defense while Hunt is the starting right guard.
No Designation
- RB Chuba Hubbard (rest0
- OLB Jadeveon Clowney (rest)
- S Nick Scott (quadriceps)
- QB Andy Dalton (ankle)
- OT Taylor Moton (rest)
Only Scott was a player who wasn't a full participant at Friday's practice so everyone is expected to play on Sunday.
