Joe Burrow has been largely successful against the Pittsburgh Steelers in his career.
In five career starts against Pittsburgh, Burrow is 3-2 with 11 touchdowns and averages just under 254 yards per game. The biggest thorn in his side in those matchups is Steelers’ star edge rusher T.J. Watt, who has 3.5 sacks and two interceptions against Burrow in his career.
Appearing on Pardon My Take, Burrow was asked about the difficulties of playing against Watt, and the Bengals’ signal caller gave his AFC foe a massive tip of the cap.
“T.J. is a unique player in this league,” Burrow said. “There’s no other defensive lineman that I have to treat like a DB. Like I have to be conscious about where he’s at because he’s just gonna jump up and catch [the ball]. And there is nobody else that can do that.”

The Bengals won’t face their AFC North counterparts until late in the season, with both matchups coming down the stretch. They will host Pittsburgh in Week 13 and travel to Acrisure Stadium to close out the regular season.
