The Cincinnati Bengals continue to deal with injuries at the right tackle position.
After losing starting right tackle Trent Brown to a torn patellar tendon in Week 3, the Bengals gave the starting role to first-round pick Amarius Mims.
Mims, who missed most of the preseason with a pectoral injury, made his NFL debut in Week 3 and got his first start in Week 4.
However, during the early minutes of the third quarter on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, Mims had to be carted off the field.
Amarius Mims injury update
The No. 30 overall pick went down with an apparent ankle/leg injury during the third quarter. The Georgia product tried to get up after a run from Chase Brown after the play.
However, Mims couldn't put any pressure or weight on his left leg. Eventually, the rookie had to be carted off the field.
Mims dealt with several injuries during his time at Georgia, which resulted in him making just eight starts at the collegiate level.
With Mims off the field, the Bengals put Cody Ford at right tackle.
We'll see what the team says about the injury and its severity, but it doesn't look good for the first-round pick.
