Will the New England Patriots find a way to improve the offensive line?
New England has a rookie quarterback to worry about in Drake Maye. The young signal-caller hasn't taken a snap yet, as the franchise doesn't want to rush him to action. The Patriots' offensive line has given the team woes, and they certainly will look to add at some point.
Bleacher Report's scouting department attempted to put together a list of each team's biggest weaknesses and unsurprisingly mentioned the Patriots' offensive line. Bleacher Report mentioned Chicago Bears' lineman Teven Jenkins as a possible fit in free agency next offseason.
"2025 Free Agency: IOL Teven Jenkins, Chicago Bears," Bleacher Report said. "The Patriots' priority next offseason will be building around Drake Maye. That means doing what they can to reinforce the offensive line.
"Someone like Garcia might be able to help now, but Teven Jenkins would give them a definitive upgrade on the inside. The former tackle has developed into a consistent starter on the inside. His ability to clear run lanes and keep his quarterback clean could help them take the next step next season."
Jenkins is a starter for the Bears and has been for the last three seasons -- including 2024. He will be available next offseason, and there surely will be teams who show interest in him. New England needs help on the line and will look to add, but it's too early to predict exactly who they will look to add.
