The Chicago Bears have a chance to make a run at a playoff spot in 2024.
Chicago looked better in 2023 than it did in 2022 and should continue that trend in 2024. The Bears have a great roster on paper. Chicago gave its offense a significant facelift this offseason by drafting Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze. The Bears didn't stop there and also brought in Keenan Allen and D'Andre Swift.
The Bears' offseason led to some high praise and there's a lot to like about Chicago now. One addition that hasn't gotten much love but could be a game-changer is the addition of Swift.
The one-time Pro Bowler is just 25 years old and had just under 1,100 rushing yards last season to go along with five rushing touchdowns, 39 receptions, 214 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown.
Swift is a great, young back and was called one of the most underrated players in football by CBS Sports' Cody Benjamin.
"Caleb Williams' star-studded arrival has rightly commanded most of the attention surrounding the Chicago Bears, but Swift looks just as, if not more, explosive in camp as he did during a 2023 breakout with the Philadelphia Eagles when he hit 1,000 yards as a turbo-boost starter despite streaky usage," Benjamin said.
Swift should see plenty of opportunities in the Bears' offensive attack this year. If he can continue to shine, it only will help take the Bears to another level.
